Our certifications & standards — A&Y

Our standards are not optional

At A&Y — À Cœur d’Enfant, certifications are part of our selection and production requirements. We choose materials and partners based on specific standards, and we ensure that products marketed under a certification meet the stated standard.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100

Required for Tout Doux™, ZEM and MINUS by A&Y™.

For our textile collections, we require OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. The compliance documents retained by A&Y include certification for product class I, intended for baby products.

GOTS — Global Organic Textile Standard

Required for organic cotton products in Tout Doux™ and ZEM.

When we describe an A&Y product as made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, this certification is one of our conditions for bringing it to market. MINUS is not presented as a GOTS collection, as it is not our organic cotton range.

CPC — Children’s product compliance

Tout Doux™: the relevant products are covered, with the current exception of the Star Comforter and the Bandana Bib. A&Y also plans to complete certification for these two products.

ZEM: CPC compliance is part of the planned process before the collection goes on sale.

Document transparency

A&Y retains certification and compliance documents provided through its production chain. To protect our business relationships, public copies may have supplier names, addresses and contact details redacted. Information about the standards, their scope, certifying bodies and validity periods remains visible.

Our principle: certification is not simply a marketing claim. We want to communicate our required standards clearly and continue completing our documentation as our collections are produced and launched.

Your supporting documents, on request

Would you like to see the documents that apply to a product you purchased? After purchase and on request, A&Y can provide the certification or compliance documents corresponding to that product, including OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, GOTS or CPC documents where those standards apply.

This approach allows us to be transparent with our customers while protecting our manufacturing partners’ confidential business information. The documents provided correspond to the product and standard concerned.

Our commitment: we want to be able to document the standards we state, rather than simply asking you to take our word for them.
