Which baby essentials have always deserved an adaptive design?

Some baby accessories seem simple to many families, yet can become complicated when a child lives with a feeding tube, oxygen, a monitor, wires, scars or daily medical care.

A bodysuit that opens in the wrong place. Pyjamas that must come off completely to reach a gastrostomy button. A blanket that catches on tubing. A bag without a practical place for a pump. Clothing that feels soft, but was not designed around everyday care.

For parents of children with medical needs, these details are not whims. They are movements repeated several times a day and sometimes throughout the night. Every fastening, opening, seam and access point can make the routine gentler—or more difficult.

We can imagine bodysuits with discreet G-tube access, pyjamas that allow access to the abdomen without fully undressing a baby, sleep sacks with adapted openings, bibs that avoid pressure on sensitive areas and carriers designed with oxygen lines and monitor wires in mind.
